bush tracks & birds
Take time to explore this unique property. Landscaped for over 60 years, our 50 acres (22 hectares) of regenerating bush is on the edge of 2 national parks.
Walk some of the 5km of tracks around the Lodge and meet the many friendly native birds; or, take the one hour return walk to the beautiful source of the Riwaka River - the resurgence - where a river emerges from the marble hillside and magical clear water bubbles deep beneath a crystal pool.

conservation
Peter & Clare plant a tree for every couple and have a long-term plan to restore the property to trees native to lowland forests of the area.
